Singapore-based aluminium vessel shipbuilder Strategic Marine has signed shipbuilding contracts with UK headquartered Mainprize Offshore for two new 33-meter Supa Swath crew transfer vessels (CTVs).

The new CTV order builds on a track record of deliveries between Strategic Marine and Mainprize Offshore, bringing the total number of Supa Swath vessels delivered and on order to 10.

Designed by Walker Marine Design, the new 33m CTV builds on the proven 26m Supa Swath platform while introducing several enhancements, as the shipbuilder says.

Key upgrades include an extended waterline length of 30 metres, an expanded 13 metre beam, and increased fuel oil capacity in excess of 63,800 litres, allowing for longer operational endurance.

Passenger capacity has also been increased to accommodate up to 39 personnel, up from 27 on the 26m design, with premium seating for comfort during transit.

The first two units in the series are due to be delivered in the third quarter of 2027. On completion, the additions will expand Mainprize Offshore’s fleet to 21 vessels in total.
